What is the attire of the event?
We recommend business casual attire for BeyondTheBlack sessions and the Sponsor Welcome Reception.
Our Tuesday evening networking event themed as ‘Stay Classy, San Diego’ will be held at the pool deck at the Hyatt. In an homage to the movie Anchorman, we encourage you to dress in your best 1970s California chic!
The BlackLine Bash on Wednesday evening will be held on the flight deck of the USS Midway. This will be an outdoor event so check the weather forecast when you’re packing. We recommend nice, casual attire, and please be sure to wear flat, comfortable shoes—as this is an authentic aircraft carrier, absolutely no high heels are allowed.

Limited quantity. No modifications available for this package.
** The Partner Pass is a limited access pass that grants you access to general sessions, the Innovation Hub, breakfast, lunch, and all networking events. It does not include breakout sessions.
Is there group pricing?
Yes. We can help with group discounts for 4 or more people from your organization. Please reach out to your Account Manager or email us at beyondtheblack@blackline.com.
Can I bring a guest?
Yes, you can purchase a guest pass to join the fun! A guest pass can be added to any BeyondTheBlack package and must be purchased by a BeyondTheBlack registrant. Guests must be at least 21 years of age.
A guest pass includes:
Entry to the Tuesday evening ‘Stay Classy, San Diego’ Poolside Party as a guest of an eligible BeyondTheBlack attendee
Entry to the Wednesday night BlackLine Bash at the USS Midway as a guest of an eligible BeyondTheBlack attendee

Standard hotel cancellation policy applies - 72 hours prior to 11:59 pm local time the day of arrival or forfeit 1 night fee.

CPE/CPD
Are CPE credits offered?
Yes. BeyondTheBlack 2023 attendees will be able to earn up to 15 CPE/CPD credits during the general conference and up to 4 CPE/CPD credits through the pre-conference workshops. Please visit the CPE/CPD page for more information.
How do I earn CPE/CPD credits during the event?
CPE/CPD credits can be earned by attending the sessions marked as CPE/CPD eligible, attending for the required amount of time, and completing the polling questions or attendance check throughout the session.
How do I receive my CPE/CPD certificate?
CPE/CPD certificates will be emailed to you within one month of the end of the event. Should you have questions regarding your certificate, please email cpe@transformation.blackline.com.
